Commonly Used Springs on Vibrating Screens
Date: 2022-03-18 From: Longding Author: admin
The springs commonly used on vibrating screens are rubber springs, composite springs, and steel springs. Vibrating screen vibration damping spring is an elastic element widely used in various vibration equipment, and is an indispensable shock absorption accessory in the operation of screening equipment. The spring has the advantages of good stability, low noise, good vibration isolation, and long service life. Different types of springs are used in different vibrating screening equipment. How to choose a vibrating screen spring?
Rubber spring
A rubber spring is a commonly used high elastic element made of natural rubber. The rubber spring has a small elastic modulus and has a large elastic deformation after being loaded, so as to absorb shock and vibration. Rubber springs can be loaded in multiple directions at the same time, but their high-temperature resistance and oil resistance are worse than those of steel springs. If there are special requirements, they can be made of oil-resistant rubber. The rubber spring has a good shock absorption effect and a small resonance area. It has the characteristics of high resilience, good stability, waterproof, high-temperature resistance, low noise, electrical insulation, long service life, and low cost.
Rubber compound spring
The composite spring is composed of a metal coil spring and high-quality vulcanized rubber wrapped around it. The composite spring integrates the advantages of metal springs and rubber springs, and overcomes the shortcomings of metal springs, such as high rigidity, high working noise, low bearing weight, and poor shape and mechanical performance stability of rubber springs. The composite spring has the advantages of higher load and large deformation, better shock absorption and noise reduction, stable operation, and short resonance interval. It is more suitable for large-scale vibration equipment in mining, coal, metallurgy, and other industries.
Steel spring
A steel spring is a mechanical part that uses elasticity to work, generally made of spring steel. Steel springs are used to control the movement of parts, ease shock or vibration, store energy, measure force, etc. Steel springs are widely used in machines and instruments. There are various types of springs. According to the shape, there are mainly coil springs, scroll springs, leaf springs, etc.
