How To Adjust The Vibration Motor?

There are usually two ways to install vibration motors on vibration machinery. We compared these two installation methods in design, production and commissioning, and maintenance.
When the vibrating machinery is working, it is usually necessary to make the line of action of the excitation force of the vibrating motor pass through the center of mass of the vibrating machine to ensure that the amplitude is consistent throughout the body. However, the line of action of the exciting force often deviates from its actual center of mass due to various reasons. If the discharge port is fixed with some bags for receiving materials, etc., this will destroy the original balance of the vibrator, causing the front and rear amplitudes to be inconsistent, thus affecting the normal operation of the vibrator. When correcting and adjusting such situations, the following measures are generally taken.
1. When installing the motor, adjust the eccentric blocks at both ends of the vibration motor. That is, the angles between the two eccentric blocks of the eccentric body at both ends are appropriately adjusted to generate excitation forces of varying sizes at both ends. According to the synthesis of forces, the line of action of the resultant force of the motor’s excitation force will deviate from the midpoint of the axis and move toward the end with the greater force, so that the line of action of the excitation force moves toward the actual center of gravity of the vibrator body and the front and rear amplitudes tend to be consistent.
2. Add a pad to the motor base to change the relative position of the two motors, adjust the direction of the line of action of the resultant force of the two motors, so that the line of action passes close to the center of mass of the vibrator body, and the vibrator can resume normal operation. For example: when the discharge end is heavy, you can put a spacer under the motor. On the contrary, the motor can be adjusted.
Conclusion:
1. The first adjustment method is to change the position of the line of action of the vibration motor while changing the excitation force. It is suitable for situations where the excitation force has a large margin (that is, the eccentric block of the vibration motor is not at the maximum excitation force position), and the adjustment range is not large. Therefore there are certain limitations.
2. The second method achieves its purpose by changing the relative position of the motor without adjusting the eccentric block of the vibration motor and does not involve the excitation force of the original vibration motor.
