How To Choose a Suitable Vibration Motor?

The vibration motor is the power source of the screening equipment and is a very important part. The vibration motor installs a set of adjustable eccentric blocks at both ends of the rotor shaft, and uses the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the shaft and eccentric blocks to obtain the exciting force. Vibration motors are classified into six categories according to the starting and running mode and the operating speed. Choosing the correct vibration motor is very important for the production operation of screening equipment.
Refer to the two aspects to select a suitable vibration motor
1. According to the production requirements and the type of screening equipment, determine the required motor vibration frequency n (r/min)
A. Six-stage vibrating motor (n=960r/min) is suitable for multi-layer vibrating screens, circular vibrating screens, and long-distance conveyors.
B. Four-stage vibrating motor (n=1440r/min) is suitable for light linear screening machines, rotary vibrating screens, and feeders.
C. The two-stage vibrating motor (n=2860r/min) is suitable for high-frequency vibrating screens, vibrating tables, and silos to prevent blockage.
Vibration motors are characterized by lower rotational speeds and higher amplitudes. Every time the vibrating motor rotates, the material is thrown up on the screen surface once. It jumps forward or up and down along the parabola in a fixed trajectory, so that the materials can be screened or vibrated.
2. Determining the required excitation force
The model label of the vibration motor. Calculate the weight of the vibrating part above the spring of the vibration equipment plus the total weight of the loaded material (including the weight of the vibration motor itself).
