How to fix the screen mesh of the drum screen?

1. Using snap fasteners

Snap fasteners are used to fix the screen on the mesh frame to achieve tensioning and fixing effects.

2. Using U-shaped grooves

Bolts are used to fix the screen of the mesh frame. This method has a simple structure and is easy to install, but it is troublesome to disassemble.

3. Hook plate method

For woven screens or screen plates with a thickness of less than 6mm, the ends of the screen or screen plate can be bent into a hook shape. If the diameter of the screen wire is small, wrap the edge of the screen with a thin steel plate and a rubber pad. Then turn it into a hook shape and fix it with a hook and bolt.

4. Wooden wedges

The perforated screen plate and the slotted screen surface can be fixed to the vibrating screen frame with wooden wedges. The screen surface is supported between two angle steels and pressed tightly with wooden wedges and wooden strips.

5. Hook tensioning

For woven screens or screen plates with a thickness of less than 6mm, the ends of the screens or screen plates can be bent into a hook shape and then fixed with hooks and bolts. In order to effectively tension the screen surface without generating secondary vibrations, the bolts can be designed at a certain angle and elastic washers can be added on the outside for more reliable installation.

6. Bolt clamping

The connection method of pressing the screen surface into the screen frame with bolts is called bolt clamping. This fixing method is suitable for fixing the middle part of the screen plate, rubber screen surface, strip screen surface and large diameter textile screen with a screen thickness greater than 8mm.

7. Inclined plate clamping

This method is to fix the two sides of the screen surface to the screen frame through bolts, inclined plates, etc. on the screen frame. This clamping method is often used for thin steel plate perforated screen surfaces, rubber and polyurethane screen plates for medium-grade screening.
