How to Increase Efficiency of Cyclone Separator?

The hydrocyclone is the core component of the fine sand recovery machine, and the purpose of classification is achieved mainly through centrifugal sedimentation. After being concentrated by the hydrocyclone, the fine sand is discharged into the dewatering screen through the sand settling nozzle for dewatering, so as to realize the separation of sediment. But sometimes due to improper operation and other external factors, its work efficiency is reduced, so how to increase the efficiency of cyclone separators?
1. Increase the feed pressure within the calibrated pressure range of the cyclone (0.1-0.12Mpa) and adjust it through the feed pump. Increase the frequency of the feed pump until the overflow does not run thick.
2. Adjust the grit nozzle by amplifying the cyclone. When the feed pressure is within the calibration range, the grit nozzle can be replaced with a larger model to reduce the roughness.
3. The clogging of the grit nozzle of the cyclone can cause a large amount of overflow to be rough. When the pressure of the cyclone is unstable, the body vibrates violently, the overflow is thick and the bottom flow is very small, check whether the grit nozzle and the feed body of the cyclone are blocked in time. If it is blocked, disassemble it immediately.
4. Through the adjustment of the ore pump: the frequency converter of the ore pump can be adjusted down until the overflow has no roughness, the liquid level of the pump pool is stable and the sedimentation concentration is high.
5. When the ore pressure is low in the calibrated range, the grit nozzle can be replaced with a smaller model to reduce the pinching phenomenon.
6. The production capacity of hydrocyclones increases with the increase of inlet pressure.
7. When the inverted cone base rod is selected, the hydrocyclone has a significant improvement in the adaptability to the inlet pressure and the underflow clamp.
By taking the above measures, failures caused by improper operation can be effectively prevented. So that the cyclone can perform normally and stably, and improve its efficiency.
