How to prolong the service life of slurry pump?

1. When not in use, the slurry pump should be placed in a dry, clean, free of corrosive gases.

2. Slurry pump, filter press feed pump need to do regular inspection, maintenance.

3. Slurry pump should be checked regularly, generally at least once every three months, frequently used should be repaired once a month. Maintenance should be all disassembled, eliminate the internal dust, oil. If too much ash accumulates on the commutator, alcohol can be used to scrub the surface of the commutator. If there are damaged parts, mud pump should be replaced with the same parts.

4. When using slurry pump, avoid water and oil entering motor, switch, roar and other parts.

5. Check whether the binding posts are firm before use. The ground cable must be reliable and firm.

6. New or long-term use of the slurry pump, need to check whether the slurry pump leakage and other phenomena.

7. Switch over the flow parts. The flow parts wear to affect the use should be replaced immediately. Otherwise it will damage the pump body pump cover, reduce the service life of the slurry pump.

8. Check whether the power supply voltage is consistent with the rated voltage. Do not use the power supply less than 10% of the rated voltage.

9. If abnormal noise is found in the process of use, it should be stopped immediately to check the cause, until it can continue to use.

10. In order to ensure the safety of production and the normal operation of electrical components, the general electric type of slurry pump is prohibited to work under the condition of containing flammable and corrosive gases.

11. The slurry pump should not run empty, and the pump should be stopped immediately after use. The no-load speed of this series of pump motor can reach about 10000 RPM, and the pump needs to be stopped immediately, otherwise it will be worn out.
