1. Vinylon filter cloth

The chemical name of vinyl on filter cloth is polyvinyl alcohol. Its Q force is lower than that of polyester, its elasticity is poor, its shape retention is poor, its abrasion resistance is better, and its durability is 1-2 times that of pure cotton. The advantages of vinylon filter cloth are that it can withstand the action of strong alkali, has good hygroscopicity, and is easy to combine with rubber. It is a good material for use in the rubber industry. Its disadvantage is that it has low temperature resistance, shrinks when the temperature reaches 100°C, and is not resistant to acid.

2. Polyester filter cloth

The material properties of polyester staple fiber filter cloth are acid resistance and weak alkali resistance. Filtration performance of polyester filter cloth: The raw material structure of polyester short fiber filter cloth is short and dense. The woven fabric is dense and has good particle interception, but poor peelability and air permeability. Strength, wear resistance, and water leakage are not as good as polyester long fiber filter cloth.

3. Nylon filter cloth

The abrasion resistance of nylon fiber is 10 times that of cotton fiber and 50 times that of viscose. Nylon filter cloth has good wear resistance, strong alkali and weak acid, so it is an ideal material for making car tires when pressed together with rubber.

4. Polypropylene filter cloth

Polypropylene filter cloth material properties: acid resistance, alkali resistance, good wear resistance, good electrical conductivity, poor corrosion resistance. The industrial cloth made of polypropylene long fiber has a smooth surface and good air permeability.

The filtration capabilities of the above several commonly used filter cloths are different.
