The Adjustment Method of Hydrocyclone Feed Pressure

The hydrocyclone feed pressure is provided by the feed pump, which should generally be kept within the calibration range (0.1-0.12Mpa). Therefore, the supply pressure of the pump must be kept stable during use to avoid pumping out of the pump pool and fluctuations in the pressure gauge of the cyclone.
When the cyclone pressure is unstable, the body vibrates violently, the overflow is too thick, and the bottom flow is very small, check the clogging of the cyclone grit nozzle and feed port in time. If it is clogged, it should be disassembled and cleaned immediately. Under the condition that the ore supply is stable and the cyclone pressure gauge has no fluctuations, the cyclone sedimentation and overflow products are measured, and different adjustment methods are carried out according to different indicators.
Under the stable feed pressure, the grit nozzle can be replaced with a larger model to reduce the roughness. It is also possible to reduce the frequency conversion of the frequency converter of the mine pump until the overflow has no roughness, the liquid level of the pump pool is stable and the sedimentation concentration is high. When the ore pressure is within the calibration range and the concentration of sand is low, the grit nozzle can be replaced with a smaller model to achieve the purpose of reducing the phenomenon of pinching. Therefore, within the calibrated pressure range of the cyclone (0.1-0.12Mpa), the feed pump is adjusted to increase the mine feeding pressure, and the frequency of the mine pump is increased to overflow without roughness.
When the feed pressure of the cyclone is within the calibration range and the overflow has no roughness, the hydraulic power to reduce the feed pressure of the cyclone is also affected by the ball mill used in the closed-circuit grinding. The underflow and overflow parameters of the cyclone include flow rate, concentration and particle size, overflow density or solids content, underflow density or solids content, circulation load, process control constraints, etc. Check whether the grit nozzle of the cyclone is clogged. The clogging of the grit nozzle of the cyclone can cause a large amount of overflow to be thick and have a huge impact on the subsequent process.
